Aromatherapy is thought to have numerous health benefits. Experts believe certain oils can improve sleep, relieve stress and help us unwind. With life constantly becoming busier and as people turn to holistic and organic remedies more often, essential oils prove to be a popular and important of many people’s daily routines. So, what are essential oils?
Essential oils are liquids extracted from flowers, leaves, roots, fruits and seeds that are formulated to work in harmony with our bodies, promoting well-being and naturally boosting our health.
Health benefits of Aromatherapy Essential oils are highly concentrated extracts of the plants they have come from, created using a natural extraction process. They are very easy to use, and your nose will guide you over which ones you prefer. Put simply, you'll either like the fragrance, or you won't. Everyone is individual.
If you are putting them directly onto your skin, you will need a carrier oil. At Senss we use a blend of sunflower and sweet almond oil.
Alternatively, you can put a few drops on your pillow or handkerchief and inhale their gorgeous aromas.

Remember, when used in a massage, essential oils should never be used undiluted.
